Beautifully decorated rooms enhanced our stay.
Our experience was marred by the small room. Despite being listed for four guests, it felt cramped with little space. The separate bathroom was a surprise and not in a good way. it was inconvenient for the family. Plus, the shower height was a real issue for taller members, making it uncomfortable. We also had to settle for a packed breakfast instead of a cooked one.

loved my stay at the crown inn! room was super clean n comfy. It looked out over the cute village green. the food was really amazin, especially the fresh fish n the breakfast hamper was great value for only £10. staff were friendly too, and it’s easy to walk to the knepp rewildin project from here. the garden at the back is a nice spot to relax!
only thing was that the pub closes 3-6, a bit annoying if u want a drink after ur walk. also, it could be hard to check in during those times.

missingWrote a review on 28 Julcompact room
Compact room size can put a damper on comfort, particularly when trying to maneuver around luggage, and the pillows were quite uncomfortable, which made for a restless night. The breakfast setup in tight quarters creates its own challenges, as you'll find yourself awkwardly fitting a kettle and bowls on a small surface. the kitchen closing at 8 p.m. created unnecessary urgency for evening meals, culminating in a stressful ordering experience that felt less like hospitality and more like a chore.

Loved the vibe and the brew station!
Spent a night here and was super impressed! Check-in was a breeze, and my room felt fresh and new. The en-suite was spotlessly clean, and they had a nifty nespresso machine for good coffee. The bar area was chill, and the food was tasty. Just wish there was a more varied menu! Definitely a cool spot.

Charming Stay with Room for Improvement
Enjoyed our one-night stay in a cozy setting. The local dining was delightful, with a warm atmosphere enhancing our experience. the limited space in the deluxe room made it tricky for our belongings, and more electrical sockets would have been great. Pack light!

The Deluxe Double Room was beautifully decorated and super comfy. The mattress was top-notch! I loved the quirky touches all around, it really made it feel special. the shower was great and the breakfast hamper was a fun twist. Just a heads up, I found the room a bit chilly in the morning, could've used some mini-heaters. But overall, it was a cozy and unique stay.
